The Author
PAUL ZINDEL (1936-2003) wrote 40 novels including The Pigman, which has sold millions of copies worldwide. The Pigman is widely recognized as one of the first authentic young adult novels. His other novels include The Pigman’s Legacy ; The Pigman and Me ; and My Darling, My Hamburger. He won the Pulitzer Prize for his play, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. EDEN RIEGEL made her Broadway debut at age seven in Les Miserables, and went on to starring roles in theater, television and film. She received a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Bianca on ABC’s All My Children.
